Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt

The good: Stylish. Comes in lots of colors to match your favorite black and white photo. Most importantly, unlike all of the other webbing belts I’ve owned, it actually stays tight. Odd buckle system – it’s kind of cool and definitely unique.

The bad: Odd buckle system – it’s not really bad, it just takes a second to figure out. Thin – if you like your belts big and your buckles bigger you won’t like this one. Also, thin the other way. Mine’s already sort of bunching up around some of my belt loops. And finally, very large. I wear 33s and the tail end is over on my hip. There’s a little loop to prevent it from flopping everywhere, though.

The Aggressives

Whilst perusing netflix for something new and interesting to watch I came across this 2005 film about six aggressive – butch/trans/genderqueer – lesbians in NYC. It follows their lives through the course of fame, jail, the military, relationships, and everyday life. If you’ve got netflix, I think it’s certainly worth a watch.

Five Ten Yosemite Jeans

What better way to show your love for the outdoors than sticking it on your ass? Seriously, though, I love the idea of making the stitching on the back pocket of the jeans into Yosemite’s famous Half Dome. Plus, they’re made to stretch and move so you can wear ’em when you’re sitting on the couch watching tv or sitting on the porch drinking beer.

Burt’s Bees Body Wash

So I was at my local healthy foods that are somewhat overpriced but make you feel good about yourself store, and I needed some body wash. Now, I won’t lie to you. I usually just use my shampoo as body wash, but I was feeling fancy. So I go over to the body wash aisle and there were seriously at least 40 different kinds of body wash. I hate shopping for hygiene products. Anyway, this was the only bottle that wasn’t guava-watermelon-daisy or lima bean-grapefruit-rose extract or yucca-cantaloupe-rose extract-eye of newt scented, so I picked it up. Well, what can I tell you? My skin is clean and I don’t smell like a fucking greenhouse. Also, I have not become noticeably more attractive to bees.

Well, hell. I figured after I stopped posting, you all would stop coming to my blog so I wouldn’t have to feel bad about not posting. Apparently I’m still getting some views, so now that I have consistent internet access (at least for a bit) I’ll be posting again. Stay tuned.
