Rock Revival Straight Leg Jeans

rock jeansStraight leg jeans for gay gals. Another pair of jeans set apart by nice stitching and a fun fleur-de-leis on the butt. I personally prefer boot cut jeans, but straight leg is all the rage these days, so take a look if you like that sort of thing.

Letter BHonestly, I have no idea what I would do with these if I had a whole bunch. But they’re really cool! Maybe they could market them for Valentine’s day: “Say ‘I love you’ with recycled Spam cans!”

trapper hatAnother one for the slopes, or around town. Also, another form of acceptable plaid. And don’t worry – no animals were (directly) killed to warm your head. This is faux fur all around.

Slopes HoodieSki season is in full effect, at least for those of you lucky enough to have snow and money for lift tickets. For the rest of us, we can wear this sweatshirt and dream about cooler climes, pine trees, and high altitudes.

butchomaticThis made me giggle and imagine an assembly line cooking up hot butches with white tank tops and big ol’ tool belts. If only such a place existed.

Black Leather Striped Motorcycle Jacket

black leather jacketEvery self-respecting butch needs a leather motorcycle jacket, preferably with stripes. As I was searching the web for such a creature, I learned that most leather motorcycle jackets look like they were inspired by the uniforms from Star Trek or the Rocketeer’s coat. Luckily, I managed to find one that is both stylish and won’t break the bank. I personally like brown leather better than black, but with the cream stripes this one’s definately got possibilities.

Cotton/Wool Argyle V-Neck

argyle sweaterOk, I admit it. I’m late to the argyle party. In fact, argyle is so in it’s probably back out again. Nonetheless, I really like the argyle with collared shirt look. However, if you’re gonna do it, do it right, unlike this asshat over here (or his stylist). Pull those collar points out, and do NOT wear a blue buttondown under a black and grey sweater. Also, I put up the boring old black and grey, but argyle works especially well in bright colors. Note: bright does not mean fluorescent.

$79 from Banana Republic … or really anywhere else that sells clothing for 15-40 year olds

fpantsI still think that flannel shirts are a poor choice for lesbians, but flannel pants are always in style – especially during the winter. Just imagine you or your favorite butch in these and nothing else.

Stripes ShirtGun TankTree Shirt

Some of you may recognize Dani Campbell as one of the contestants on the first season of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. She was the really hot firefighter who seemed like she didn’t really belong on such an otherwise lame show. Not that I ever watched it or anything. Ahem.

Anyway, Dani has finally released some shirts from her new clothing like – originally called Futch, now apparently renamed pinkboybluegirl. I’m personally waiting to see whether she actually makes good on her promise of clothing for butch (or soft butch) women, or whether it turns out to be another line of tshirts. Not that the shirts that are up aren’t nice – they are – but, you know, it’d be even nicer to have some real clothing.

$20-30 from Futch Apparel/PinkBoyBlueGirl
