Every winter I tell myself I’m gonna get in shape for the summer so I can strut around in my boardshorts and tank top and get an awesome tan. And every winter it just seems like way too much effort. Well, these cards almost have me convinced to get off my ass and exercise. And that’s saying something. Basically, there are a bunch of different decks (bodyweight, yoga, junior, etc) that show you various isometric stretches and exercises that you can vary your workout with. The only thing I would not recommend trying is playing drinking games with these.

What could be better than sitting out on your porch this spring and sipping on a nice cool drink with fossil bones in it? Well, ice-flavored dino bones. Be a paleontologist in your own freezer with these fossil ice trays.

It may be a bit late in the snow season, but there’s still time to hit the slopes with these HEATED snowboard pants. That’s right, folks. Flip a switch on the rechargeable battery pack and your pants are warmed up. Supposedly they’re also well ventilated, but I know I get overheated as it is cruising (ass over heels) down the slopes. Not to say that I don’t totally want a pair.

Planning on tailgating sometime soon? Well, if you’re a giant nerd like me you’re probably going to want these beer cozies. They make beer cozies look stylish. Almost.

Do you have a credit card or a gas card or some other sort of financial data with an RFID chip in your wallet? Well, unfortunately, RFID is horribly unsafe. It can be hacked at a hundred paces with a cell phone by a monkey. Ok, a well-trained monkey. Anyway, this wallet has RF blocking to keep your info safe until you need it. They also have passport cases because the US government has decided to encode all of your important information on an RFID chip in your new passport.

Continuing in the outdoors theme, here’s a tripod for all occasions. This will turn any standard-sized bottle into a tripod.

Nuclear disaster? Zombie attack? Hear all the latest apocalypse news with this crank- or battery-powered radio. It also has LED lights and a cell phone charger. Actually, I’m tempted to buy it just to crank it up and charge my phone. It’s also only 1.5 lb with its built-in battery, so it would be good for camping too.
$60 from The NPR Shop
There’s still time this summer to sit around in a hammock! I’ve got one of these – it takes like 5 seconds to set up and its comfy as heck.
$55 from Eagle’s Nest Outfitters
This is such a neat idea. Keep family and friends appraised of your travels, or have a nice memento of a trip that’s entirely personalized. Comes in USA, Europe, or the whole world.

Well, my laptop’s hard drive bit the dust, and the other parts are quickly following. Until I get it up and running again or I buy a new one I won’t be updating quite as often. Meanwhile, here’s the lovely new Studio laptop from Dell that I’m thinking about getting. I configured one with some pretty nice specs for a little over $1000.
