Butch Style

In light of her current status as gossip blog superstar, I’ve decided to turn the butch style spotlight on Samantha Ronson, friend, girlfriend, and (maybe?) fiancee of Lindsay Lohan. While Ronson needs to be fed several pounds of biscuits and gravy or something equally fattening, she definitely displays some dyke DJ style.

If you haven’t heard the news, Lindsay Lohan finally decided to announce her gayness. Kind of. She had a big 22nd birthday party bash last week with Samantha Ronson, her rumored girlfriend. She said during her birthday party, “I just wanna live a healthy happy year, continue on the path I’ve been on and be with the person I care about.” The butch of the hour then apparently gave her woman a $22k ring for her birthday. Damn.

You may argue that she’s not *that* butch. She does, however, have many of the elements of that trendy butch style.

Ronson sporting lesbian flannel. Are the 90s back? Maybe. Is lack of lesbian fashion sense back? I hope not.

She really likes that hat. Nice tux shirt with a fancy watch. Also note the bleached hair with roots and the headphones. Yeah, I know she’s a DJ, but I can totally see the big headphones becoming the new “thing.”
