Tie die is (apparently) not for hippies any more. This shirt’s got some nice texture to it without looking like you accidentally put bleach in with your colors.$48 from Lucky Brand Jeans
Thus far I have stayed away from t-shirts, for the sole reason that there are SO many cool ones. Well, this site made me think twice. Their concept is unique. These shirts are from real places all over the west coast. Coffee shops, tattoo parlors, bowling alleys – they’ve got em, and they’re looking for more constantly. Wouldn’t it be great to buy a bunch of your favorites, and then go on a road trip to visit them all?

This tie would be great with a suit. Get it, suit? Like the armor? Cause it’s a SUIT of armor? Anyway, it’s embroidered and silkscreened and very neat.

I really like the look of straw cowboy hats. Maybe because the girl I first saw in one was smokin’ hot? Anyway, great for the beach or for hiking or really any outdoor activity where you need to keep the sun out of your face and look good at the same time.

What’s new and cool in the world of camping? Well, head on over to Lesbiatopia and I’ll tell you.
Whether you’re visiting your friendly neighborhood National Park or headed off to set up camp at a music festival, ’tis the season to break out the tents and the bug spray. I’m going to assume that most of you know the basics of camping – how to set up a tent, where to store your food, etc. Here’ I’ll be looking at what’s new on the camping scene. Keep in mind, though, that you by no means need new, expensive gear to enjoy yourself outdoors. All you really need is a sleeping bag and a sense of adventure.
I own these boots, and I love them. They lasted me two seasons of trail building and they’re still going strong. They’re also really comfy and basically waterproof – I’ve gone wading in 3 or 4 inch deep water and had dry feet after.

Ok, I’ve been trying to resist the plaid walking shorts thing for as long as possible. But I really kind of like these. Maybe because the plaid’s subtle? Anyway, I like ‘em almost enough to even buy them. I think I may not be tan enough to pull off white shorts, though.

Somehow, this belt makes me thing “NASA” and “unicorns” all at the same time. I’d call that a win.

It looks like it’s made from leather – but it isn’t. No, this bag is made from recycled truck tires. It’s amazing how often stereotypical dykey interests and fasion overlap, isn’t it?

They say the art of letter writing is dead. Well, you can prove ‘em wrong with these greeting cards which are too awesome NOT to use. Whether it’s congratulating a friend on a new baby (I recommend the human cannon ball) or you just want to leave a note for that special lady in your life (perhaps the bearded mermaid?) these cards will do it. The printing press, Yee-Haw industries, is really cool. I got my Christmas cards there last year when I was working in TN, and I learned that they actually have a real live printing press and they use wood blocks and set their own type. How cool is that?
